"In this book my father helps the reader traverse this journey called life by pointing to the One who guides us by His mighty Spirit, helping us walk with Him in certain victory." --Franklin Graham
Why is suffering the common lot of all people everywhere--believers and non-believers alike--and why does it seem that the world is out of control when it comes to the problem of pain and suffering?
These are not easy questions, and in reality, you will never know the answers completely until you see our Lord face to face in heaven. Nevertheless, the Bible does give you some answers.
Who's in Charge of a World that Suffers? includes an informative and inspirational new introduction by Franklin Graham that speaks to today's reader in the midst of painful circumstances.
In this book, originally titled Till Armageddon, world-renowned evangelist Billy Graham uncovers the clues the scriptures offer you to this universal question--the question of suffering. Readers will discover what the Bible says about:
- Why Christians are not exempt from suffering
- Living above your circumstances
- The place of prayer in suffering
- God's promises for those who suffer
- And much more

About the Author
Born November 7, 1918, Billy Graham was raised on a dairy farm in Charlotte, NC. In the fall of 1934, he made a personal commitment to Christ through the ministry of Mordecai Ham, a traveling evangelist. Ordained in 1939, Billy attended Florida Bible Institute (now Trinity College in Florida). In 1943 he graduated from Wheaton College in Illinois and married fellow student Ruth McCue Bell. After graduating from college, he pastored the First Baptist Church in Western Springs, Illinois before joining Youth for Christ.
In 1950, he founded the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). Of the books he has authored, many have become top sellers. Billy has received numerous recognitions, awards, and honorary doctorates. In December 2001 he was presented with an honorary knighthood, Honorary Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire (KBE), for his international contribution to civic and religious life over 60 years.
On February 21, 2018, at the venerable age of ninety-nine, Billy Graham went home to be with the Lord. He is succeeded by his three daughters, two sons, many grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
